Hello!
I've set up this blog so that I can keep in touch with friends and family as well for fun. I'm a bit crap with email so hopefully this will work better!
Of course, 'Dans' Adventure' is the big world trip that Dan (boy) and I have been talking about for years. So yes, if I seem ridiculously organised its because I am - its been a long time coming! Although the title is 'plural Dan', the blog will be primarily from my (Dan girl's) perspective.... fantastic for me with the old pen / keyboard being mightier than the sword / whatever.
The main page (home) is where I will post stories, thoughts, feelings and interesting facts that I'll gather along the way. I hope for it to become a collection of insights, rather than a documentation of each place we visit or every activity we do.
I've set up dedicated pages for updates on overarching stuff such as our whereabouts, my travel wishlists and hit and miss list, to prevent that sort of information from becoming buried within the posts.
I hope that if you choose to read my posts you will enjoy them and share some of our adventure with us - I'll love having you tag along!
